Impact
Public Philosophy
I write opinion articles using my philosophical skills to analyse social and political issues. I'm especially interested in understanding the challenges that new populism and far-right groups pose to democracy, the social implications of new technological developments, and the connection between these.
My journalistic articles are currently published in Proceso. I have also written in Aristegui Noticias, SinEmbargo, Letras Libres, and Diario de Yucatán. Additionally I collaborated in the radio and tv news-show Aristegui en Vivo with a weekly section titled 'Razones y Sinrazones'.
Interdisciplinary Collaborations
I am also council member at the interdisciplinary Laboratory of Hate and Harmony of the Seminar on Violence and Peace (El Colegio de México).

Activism
I am part of the Colectivo por la protección de Todas las Familias de Yucatán, an organisation dedicated to the promotion and defence of LGBTI+ right in México.
